In 1964, Teressa Bellissimo, served the first plate of buffalo wings at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York. Being she had only limited ingredients available, she covered them with a special HOT SAUCE and served them with blue cheese and celery to COOL down the HOTNESS one may experience on their TONGUE.
Buffalo Chicken Meatballs
- 2 lbs. ground chicken
- 1 cup Frank’s Red HOT Sauce
- 1/2 cup Bleu cheese dressing or FRESH bleu cheese
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. celery salt
- HANDFUL chopped FRESH parsley
Whether you like HOT and SPICY or more mild, these can be made to PLEASE your level of INTENSITY depending how much HOT SAUCE you put INTO it!
To make these, you may want to have your partner stand BEHIND you with BOTH of your HANDS in the bowl. Mix all ingredients TOGETHER. Decide how HOT you want these Buffalo Chicken Meatballs and let your partner pour in that HOT SAUCE!
Bake or fry until golden all around.
You can even make a DIP for these delicious BALLS. See my HOT & BLEU recipe for the HOT details.
Enjoy!
