Enjoy these bagels for Breakfast in Bed with your partner to spice up the start of your day!
Bagels may have been created as early as 1610 by the Jewish Council of Krakow, Poland and then made their way from Poland to the United States in approximately 1907. The shape provided the advantage of even cooking. The hole allowed them to be displayed on a dowel and transported easily.
~ 2 cups self rising flour
~ 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
~ 1 egg yolk for brushing on top
~ sprinkles of Everything Bagel seasoning or whatever you desire
Mix the flour and yogurt until smooth then shape into 8 equal sized balls. Roll into about 6 inch long strips then make into a circle and connect the ends.
Brush egg yolk onto each one then sprinkle with your favorite topping.
